Blue Bottle Coffee's first Japan location in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa has been a landmark of the third-wave coffee movement since opening in 2015. The expertly crafted pastries and baked goods pair perfectly with their specialty coffees, drawing crowds not just for the drinks but for the sweets too. This café helped put Kiyosumi-Shirakawa on the map as Tokyo's coffee neighborhood, and it remains a pilgrimage site for café enthusiasts. Expect queues on weekends. Located at 1-4-8 Hirano, Koto-ku, Tokyo, a short walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station.
